Documentation that ships with every petrochemical order

What we deliver to EPC SQE teams and refinery procurement engineers.

Compliance documentation built alongside production — not after

Most centrifugal casting suppliers treat documentation as paperwork done after production. We build the package alongside casting: chemistry verified during melt, dimensional reports from first article, NDT during cooling cycle. EPC SQE teams receive a complete documentation package on the shipping date.

Documentation lead time: 0 daysStandard documentation ships with the cargo. Witnessed inspection packages (third-party SGS, BV, TÜV) available with 5-10 day notice.

Buyer questions on petrochemical casting service

Common questions from refinery procurement engineers, EPC project buyers, and hydrogen plant maintenance teams.

What petrochemical applications do you supply?
Active shipments to hydrogen plants (SMR catalyst tubes), ammonia plants (primary reformer tubes), methanol synthesis (converter tubes), ethylene crackers (cracking coil tubes), propylene PDH (dehydrogenation reactor tubes), refinery catalytic reformers, delayed coker furnaces, and direct-reduction iron (DRI) plants. Each application has specific alloy selection and tube design per service conditions.
Can you supply tubes with PED 2014/68/EU certification?
Yes. PED 2014/68/EU compliance documentation available for tubes destined for EU pressure equipment service. Notified body involvement (TÜV, DNV, Lloyd's Register, BV) coordinated through our PED engineering team. Module H1 (full quality assurance) or Module G (unit verification) certification path selected based on category and project requirements.
Do you provide API 530 design calculations?
Yes. API 530 (Calculation of Heater-tube Thickness in Petroleum Refineries) design calculations included with quote for fired-heater tube applications. Calculations include wall thickness, design pressure, elastic stress, rupture stress, and remaining-life modeling. Useful for refinery RBI/RLA programs. We can supply design calculations alongside the tube delivery for buyer engineering files.
What's the typical lead time for refinery tube orders?
Standard HP40/HK40 catalyst tubes: 35-55 days from confirmed PO. New mold tooling: add 15-25 days. PED certification path: add 10-15 days. Complete revamp packages (200-400 tubes per furnace): 55-80 days. Sea freight to refineries in US/EU/MENA: add 30-45 days. Total project lead time typically 95-140 days from PO to site delivery.
Can you do third-party witnessed inspection?
Yes. SGS, BV, TÜV, DNV, Lloyd's Register, and Intertek witnessed inspection coordinated for high-value refinery orders. Standard witness points: chemistry verification, NDT inspection, dimensional FAI, pressure test, and final loading. EN 10204 3.2 certificates issued with third-party inspector sign-off. Witness inspection adds approximately 5-10 days to lead time.
What chemistry tolerance do you hold on petrochemical castings?
Tighter than ASTM minimums. HP40: Cr 25-26%, Ni 34-35% (vs ASTM 24-28% / 33-37%). HK40: Cr 25-26%, Ni 19-21%. HP-Nb: Nb 1.2-1.6% (above ASTM minimum). Each heat verified by spectrometer ladle sample. PMI XRF re-verification on shipped batches. Mill certificates list actual percentages traceable to heat number.
Do you supply complete coil packages including bends and headers?
Yes. Complete petrochemical coil packages — straight tubes, return bends, U-bends, outlet headers, pigtails — all in matching alloy chemistry from the same heat lot. Welding done in-house using matching filler material (HP-Nb filler wire under controlled GTAW conditions) or shipped as separate pieces for site welding by buyer fabrication contractor.
How do you handle remaining-life assessment for replacement tubes?
For tube replacement orders, we work with refinery engineering teams to match new tube spec to historical service data. Creep-rupture test data from our HP40/HK40 test heats available for tube-life prediction modeling. Common practice: replacement tubes upgraded one alloy grade (HK40 to HP40, or HP40 to HP-Nb) to extend service life and reduce downtime frequency.
What MOQ applies to petrochemical orders?
No fixed MOQ. Standard tube geometries ship from existing tooling at any quantity — from spare tube replacement (1-5 tubes) to complete revamp orders (200-400 tubes). New mold tooling for non-standard OD: economical at 15-25 tubes of same geometry. Bulk catalyst charge orders (full furnace replacement) get production-line priority.
Do you ship petrochemical castings worldwide?
Yes. Active shipments to refineries and petrochemical plants in the US, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Russia, South Korea, Japan, India, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia. FOB Qingdao standard quote; CIF, DDP, and project-specific freight handled through partnered forwarders. Pressure equipment customs documentation handled per destination country requirements.
